The Shakes & Fidget bot, explained

A Shakes & Fidget bot plays the repetitive parts of the game for you: quests, arena, dungeons, the fortress and the rest of the daily routine. This page explains what that means, what Mercy SF automates, how it works and what to watch out for.

SF bot, tool, trainer or helper?

People look for this under many names: Shakes & Fidget bot, SF bot, S&F bot, SF tool, Shakes & Fidget helper, SF trainer, or simply Shakes & Fidget automation. Almost always they mean the same thing: a program that takes the daily chores off your hands while your character keeps progressing.

The one word that usually means something else is trainer. In a game that runs on your own computer, a trainer changes numbers in memory. Shakes & Fidget does not work like that: your character, your silver and your mushrooms live on the game's servers, so nothing on your PC can conjure them up. A download that promises free mushrooms is a scam, or something worse.

Mercy SF is automation with a few helpers built in, such as a battle simulator and Hall of Fame scouting. It plays the game the ordinary way and earns what a player clicking by hand would earn.

What Mercy SF automates

26 modules, each switched on by itself and each explaining what it is doing. Grouped the way the game is played:

How it works

A standalone program, not a mod

Mercy SF does not touch the game client. It talks to the same official Shakes & Fidget servers your browser already talks to and sends the same requests the game sends. Nothing is injected and nothing is patched.

Your login stays with you

You sign in with your Shakes & Fidget account inside the app. The login is stored on your own machine, encrypted, and there is no account server of ours holding it.

It explains itself

The arena panel names the opponent it will fight next and why: win chance, scrapbook gap, honour swing. When the bot does nothing, it says why it is doing nothing.

It knows when an event is live

The World Boss, the Hellevator and the Legendary Dungeon only run for a week or two at a time. Mercy SF checks each event's own window and stays quiet once one has ended.

Where it runs

  • Your computer

Windows 10 and newer, macOS 12 and newer on Apple Silicon and Intel, and 64-bit Linux. One app with the same behaviour on all three.

  • A Raspberry Pi or a server

ARM64 builds for a Raspberry Pi, a console build without a window and with a JSON interface, and a self-hosted panel you open in a browser from anywhere.

  • Your phone

Android and iPhone apps, both in beta, work as a remote control for the bot running on your PC or server.

The honest part

Automating an account can be against the game's terms of service, and the consequences, from a warning to losing a character, fall on you. Any bot that calls itself undetectable or ban-proof is promising something nobody can promise. Mercy SF does not.

What it does instead: it works at a deliberately unhurried pace, every feature that could spend mushrooms is off until you switch it on, and you can give mushrooms a floor and a weekly budget. Read the game's terms and decide for yourself.
