Achievements
Mercy SF tracks all 92 achievements and shows how far along each one is. That part always works.
Separately, there is an achievement engine that will actively steer the bot towards achievements it can reach on its own. That part is off by default, and the distinction matters.

Reporting versus steering
achievement_engine_enabled defaults to off. With it off, the bot plays normally and touches nothing for the sake of an achievement: no location detours, no stripping gear, no spending lucky coins, no hoarding arcane. The screen still shows your progress. It simply stops driving.
That is deliberately one switch above the per-achievement toggles. Those say which pursuits are wanted; this says whether the engine runs at all, so somebody who wants the plain bot back does not have to hunt down every individual setting.
It is a beta
The engine is labelled beta because the server's achievement ordering is not officially documented. The indices it uses are community-sourced and best-effort. They are only used to skip pursuing something already earned, so a wrong slot wastes or skips a cheap early-game action and never anything costly.
What the engine pursues
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
achievement_engine_enabled | off | Master switch. Nothing below has any effect while this is off. |
auto_achievements | on | Pursue the opportunistic achievements at all. |
achievement_globetrotter | on | Take the location detours that count towards Globetrotter. |
achievement_naturism | on | Fight unarmoured where it is safe to do so. |
achievement_st_nicholas | on | The seasonal one. |
achievement_heavy_spinner | off | Spend lucky coins on the wheel. Off because it spends a resource you might want elsewhere. |
achievement_song_of_the_blacksmith | off | Hoard arcane to 10,000 rather than spending it on upgrades until the achievement is earned. Defers item upgrades and costs nothing permanent. |
achievement_track_locations | on | Record which locations have been visited, which is what Globetrotter needs to know. |
Why some are off
The two that are off by default both spend something.
Heavy Spinner costs lucky coins, which are useful elsewhere and slow to come by.
Song of the Blacksmith costs time rather than resources: hoarding arcane to ten thousand means your gear is not being upgraded while the hoard builds. Nothing is lost permanently, but progress stalls, and that should be a choice.
